2695 Alliance higher pressure without column - WKB111411

SYMPTOMS

• 2695 system pressure around 600 psi with union
• High pressure with outlet from inline filter disconnected
• Substantially higher pressure when performing a wet prime

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Dirty inline filter.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Clean by sonication OR replace Filter Insert, Waters In-line Filter (# WAT088084)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

if filter insert is blocked on the holder replace inline filter assy (WAT035190).
