"Error: Failed to calibrate system volumes" on FL ACQUITY M-Class - Solution #2 - WKB10941

SYMPTOMS

  • There are no results when characterizing the needle and loop volumes
  • The error message on the Sample Manager is "Error: Failed to calibrate system volumes"

ENVIRONMENT

  • Fixed Loop (FL) ACQUITY M-Class
  • Firmware 1.53, 1.55, or 1.56

CAUSE

Software error

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. In the console, under Sample Manager, go to Troubleshoot.
  2. Select Reset nonvolatile RAM.
  3. Run all characterization tests for the sample manager, including R-theta and bubble detect.
