SYMPTOMS
- QDa stays in idle mode and does not switch to Operate from the ACQUITY console
- No error messages
- All connections and requirements look good
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
- ACQUITY H-Class
- Empower 3 Enterprise
- Windows 10
CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Close out of Empower.
- Shut down the LAC/E or PC.
- Power-off the QDa and all other ACQUITY modules.
- Power-on the computer.
- Power-on the modules, starting with the SM-FTN (sample manager).
- Wait for all modules to initialize.
- Launch Empower and log in.
