CPSO X-shuttle move error - WKB101841

SYMPTOMS

• X-shuttle move error observed on CPSO
• Plate is not transferred from Sample Manager back into the Sample Organizer
• Sample Organizer tries to load another plate into the Sample Manager when original plate is still in the Sample Manager

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Organizer - CPSO

CAUSE

X-transfer mechanism is missing the bolt/peg, which is needed to return sample plate from the SM to the CPSO.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Power-off the Sample Organizer and manually transfer plates from the Sample Manager to the Sample Organizer.
2. Manually move the X-transfer mechanism into the Sample Manager to gain access to the X-transfer mechanism.
3. Using a T10 driver, tighten the bolt/peg back onto the X-transfer mechanism.

 4. Complete full transfer of all plates to verify that the Sample Organizer is functioning as it should.
