CPSO X shuttle move error - WKB101841

SYMPTOMS

• X shuttle move error error observed on CPSO
• Plate not being transferred from Sample Manager back into the Sample Organizer
• Sample Organizer tries to load another plate into the Sample Manger when original plate is still in the Sample Manager

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Organizer - CPSO

CAUSE

X transfer mechanism bolt/peg missing which is needed to return sample plate from the SM to the CPSO.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Power off Sample Organizer and manually transfer plates from the Sample Manager to the Sample Organizer.
2. Manually move the X transfer mechanism into the Sample Manager to gain access to the X transfer mechanism.
3. Using a T10 screwdriver, tighten the bolt/peg back onto the X transfer mechanism.

 4. Complete full transfer of all plates to verify Sample Organizer is functioning as it should.
