"Zp-Axis home h/w fault" on an ACQUITY FTN - WKB100060

SYMPTOMS
- "Zp-Axis home h/w fault" error message
- Resetting the sample manager does not resolve the issue
- Plate configuration did not change
ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE
The needle was not latched in place on the needle carriage.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Put the needle back into the needle carriage. The needle should align in the notches as shown below:
2. Turn the latch clockwise so it is horizontal along the needle carriage and the needle is in place.
3. Power-cycle the FTN.
4. Perform Z-Axis calibration.
5. Characterize the needle seal.
