Note that this is not an exhaustive list of all the requirements and can change depending on software version. Please refer to the "Site Preparation Guide" for the list specific to your version. 

• For real-time antivirus scanning, exclude all waters_connect-related folders and their sub-directories noted below.
• Real-time antivirus scanners mistake normal software functionality for virus activity, causing data buffering and or timeout problems.
• Ensure that scheduled antivirus scans do not occur during any data acquisition processes. 
• This includes any advanced heuristics antivirus scanning engines such as Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, and similar products.
• Note: Learning AI features may also need to be disabled as Waters have many customers where this learned to block or deep scan our executables despite the exceptions.
