When creating an Intact Mass analysis, I see no data in Select Method and Injections - WKB259783

SYMPTOMS

• When creating an Intact Mass analysis, none of the data files imported into the Project folder from another system are visible in the data selection pane
• However, the sample sets were successfully imported into waters_connect database and are visible in the Project folder using the Explorer app

ENVIRONMENT

• waters_connect 3.1
• Intact Mass 1.3

CAUSE

There is no date in the modifiedDate column when data is first imported, and the time zone offset sets this back an hour before the default minimum. This is a known issue that will be fixed in a future release.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Create a new "Temporary Import" folder in Explorer.
2. Import the data into the "Temporary Import" folder in Explorer.
3. Move the imported data from the "Temporary Import" folder to the "Project" folder.
   • This assigns a "modified data/Time" to the sample set and injections within the sample set.
4. It should now be possible to add the sample set to the Intact Mass analysis from the Project folder.
