How to report manually applied changes to the analysis method of an existing analysis - WKB230100

Article number: 230100

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Include details of any manual changes to the processing settings of the analysis method used to create an analysis that were made after data acquisition but before the results were reported.

Or, to put it another way: Did you change the processing settings in the analysis method after you acquired the data? Do you want to report the changes you made when reporting the data so that an auditor can see them? This is how.

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI 1.9.4
  • waters_connect with UNIFI 1.9.13

PROCEDURE

  1. Open the report template. Add the report object “Analysis method compare".clipboard_e6f594a989f3064ae481baab66c83a565.png

  3. If you have not already done so . . .
    1. From within the Analysis, select Edit > Analysis Method to edit just the processing settings in the Analysis.
    2. Change the parameters as needed. (Smoothing is shown below only to demonstrate the principle.)
    3. The Process button turns yellow. Press it to reprocess the data incorporating the change made to the method.
  4. Look at the report after reprocessing. Changes incorporated into the analysis method after original acquisition and embedded within the Analysis are reported.
