SYMPTOMS

• Pyroglutamylation of the heavy chain N-terminal Q of the antibody is configured in the science library
• Post-translational modification (pyroglutamylation of N-terminal Q) is not reflected on the Review screen

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.9.4

CAUSE

Post-translational modifications are configured in the science library.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Do not configure post-translational modifications (other than disulfide) in the science library.
• Configure post-translational modifications such as pyroglutamylation of the N-terminal Q of the heavy chain to “Fixed” or “Variable” in Analysis Specific Settings > Amino Acid Modifications in the analysis method.
