 i-FIT is the value of "the reliability of the candidate formula calculated by the consistency between the mass shift and the isotope intensity ratio".

A good i-Fit score indicates that not only the mass shift but also the isotope intensity ratio is close to the theoretical value.

Conversely, even if the values of mDa and ppm are perfect, if the isotope patterns do not match, the score of i-Fit will be low.

A high iFit Conf% / iFit confidence score (%) indicates the high consistency with the theoretical value, but there is no criteria for a specific number.
This is because it also depends on how many formulas have been hit.

For example, if only one formula is hit, the Fit Conf% / iFit confidence score (%) of the hit formula is 100%.
If three formulas are hit, you get 50% 30% 20%.
All iFit confidence scores (%) of the formulas that have been hit will be allocated so they add up to 100%.
Therefore, it is difficult to decide the criteria at which the score (%) should be sufficient.
