UNIFI: What is the Predicted Intensity (%) in the Results fields on the Discover page? - WKB92847

Article number: 92847

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI

ANSWER

It is the match rate for the fragment strength.

For example, for a compound that produces five MS/MS spectra,
if the value obtained by adding the intensities of the five fragments is 100%,
suppose that fragments are produced at the ratios of A: 70%, B: 15%, C: 5%, D: 5%, E: 5%.

If only fragment A is hit, the Predicted Intensity (%) is 70%,
If two of A and B are hit, the Predicted Intensity (%) is 70 + 15 = 85%
If two of D and E are hit, the Predicted Intensity (%) is 5 + 5 = 10%.
