OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Import the analysis method, report template, sample list, custom fields, and library needed to run the Vion LC-HDMSE QC System Suitability Test

PROCEDURE

  1. Importing the custom fields
    1. From the drop-down list in the My Work pane (in the top-left of the UNIFI window), select Administration.

  1. Click Manage Custom Fields and Formulas.

  1. Click Picture3.JPG(in the top-right of the UNIFI window) to import the "Vion SST Custom Fields.dat" file.

 

  1. Importing the library
    1. From the Administration window, click Scientific Library.

  1. Click Import library items.

  1. From the Type of import list, select UNIFI library container file.

  1. Click the "Browse" button and locate the "LC-MS QC Reference.ulc" file to import.
  2. Specify a name and description for the library.
  3. Click Import.

Note: The newly created library contains sum formulae and MOL files for all nine test compounds, together with their CCS values.

 

  1. Importing the SST analysis files.

The UNIFI export package (.uep) contains the analysis method, sample list, and report template. The analysis method, which was created with a system comprising an ACQUITY UPLC I-Class, a Sample Manager FTN, and a Column Manager, plus a Vion IMS QTof, is provided as an example.

  1. From the My Work pane, click Tools > Import UNIFI data.

  1. In the File box, click the "Browse" button and navigate to the "Vion LC-MS QC SST.uep" file.
  2. Select a folder location, and then click Import.

This procedure is a complement to the "Vion LC-HDMSE QC System Suitability Test" (715005426 Revision B).
