Cannot obtain 90% peptide coverage in UNIFI peptide mapping - WKB9257

SYMPTOMS

• Only 60-70% coverage for peptide mapping 

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI
• QTof peptide mapping

CAUSE

Both Trypsin reagents must be added.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the analysis method, go to Processing.
2. Select Protein Digest under Analysis Specific Settings.
3. If using Trypsin, add both Trypsin and pTrypsin to the selected digest reagents. 

4. Save or update the method and reprocess the data.
