OBJECTIVE or GOAL

• Display background-subtracted spectrum on the Investigate screen

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Investigate screen.
2. Display the target chromatogram.
3. Choose “Process Options”.
4. Select Combine spectra from the pull-down menu.
5. In “Times to average”, enter the range of retention time for which you want to integrate spectra.

• It can be entered automatically by right-dragging on the Chromatogram screen.

6. Check the “Times to subtract” and enter the range of the background retention time.

• It can be entered automatically by right-dragging on the Chromatogram screen.
• Make the time window of the entered “Times to average” and the “Times to subtract” to be the same.

7. Click Start.
