No communication with any of the system components in UNIFI - WKB60495

SYMPTOMS

• No communication with any component of the instrument system
• Rebooting the components makes no difference
• Restarting UNIFI has no effect
• Deleting portal logs has no effect

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI 1.8.2 Workstation
• Xevo G2-XS
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Exit UNIFI.
2. Stop the WatServiceHost service.
3. Restart the WatServiceHost service.
4. Log in to UNIFI.
5. Go to the Administration page and select Device Management.
6. Select the Workstation tab and ensure that the PC's status is online.
7. Ensure that the instrument system is online.
8. Confirm communication status.
