OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Create a new "User" account in waters_connect.
ENVIRONMENT
- waters_connect
- UNIFI
PROCEDURE
- Sign in to waters_connect Hub using an account with Administrator privileges.
- In waters_connect Administration, click Administration.

- In the Security area, click Users.

- On the Global User List page, click Create.

- Fill in the User Profile and assign the desired role for the user.

- At this point, you cannot assign a password. The default password will be the same as the username, and they will be prompted to change it when they first log in.
- Click Save.
- Leave the Security page and go back to the main Administration page.
- Click the Licensing section.

- Select Assign License.

- The left-hand panel shows you how many licenses you have available. You must have one available in order to activate the new user.
- Drag a license from the left-hand panel to the User Account in the right-hand panel. or select the user on the right-hand side and then click Assign.

- Log in with the new account. The username and password will be the same.

- Create a new, unique password for the new account.
