In UNIFI, manual tuning is unavailable for the mass spectrometer - WKB234616

SYMPTOMS
- Mass spectrometer has no communication errors in the instrument console, but the manual tuning choice is unavailable
- Mass spectrometer gives updated readbacks and can be put into Operate
- Rebooting the mass spectrometer makes no difference
- Taking the instrument offline and resetting the workstation from Device Management makes no difference
- All other ACQUITY components can be seen in the instrument console and can be controlled, except for the column manager; it is off
ENVIRONMENT
- UNIFI 1.9.4 Workstation
- Xevo G2-XS
- ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
CAUSE
Instrument system is in error; column manager is off.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Create a new instrument system without the column manager.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This workaround allows the user to use other components of the instrument system while the column manager is being fixed.
