Sometimes MassLynx data cannot be imported into UNIFI - WKB208835

SYMPTOMS

• Unable to import MassLynx data to UNIFI workstation
• Even data measured by the same MS method may or may not be imported

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI
• MassLynx
• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

MS method has LockMass set to "Acquire LockSpray—Apply correction".

FIX or WORKAROUND

Do no apply correction.

When the LockMass setting is measured with "Acquire LockSpray—Apply correction", the lockmass is automatically converted to the centroid format. As a result, the data may contain centroid-formatted spectra that cannot be analyzed by UNIFI.
