Cannot go into operate in UNIFI - MS error - microswitch error. - WKB10930

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot put the MS into Operate
• MS error for status
• On the Diagnostics for the Lens Control PCB, there is a red LED for Interlocks indicating a microswitch error
• If the MS is connected to MassLynx, no error exists and the instrument can go into Operate

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI
• Mass Spectrometer control

CAUSE

LND is locked up (even if it is a workstation)

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to Device Management and reset the workstation or LND if it is a work group environment. 
2. Put the instrument into Operate.
