ANSWER

Yes. You can schedule database backups through the WDM web interface. From the WDM dashboard, click Manage Backups, and from there you can view the currently scheduled database backups, add new backup schedules, modify existing schedules, or delete scheduled backups.

It is possible to restore a database backup, but not through the WDM web interface. Waters Professional Services has a script that can restore a database backup.  Contact Waters Professional Services for more information about restoring backups through WDM.
