EDS365 - Error ORA-01877 generated during ETL - WKB233662

SYMPTOMS

• "ODI-1226: Step int_injection_emp3_init fails after 1 attempt(s).
  ODI-1240: Flow int_injection_emp3_init fails while performing a Integration operation. This flow loads target table B_INJECTION.
  ODI-1228: Task int_injection_emp3_init (Integration) fails on the target ORACLE connection BIMDWH.
  Caused By: java.sql.SQLDataException: ORA-01877: string is too long for internal buffer

ENVIRONMENT

• EDS365 

CAUSE

When there is a <NULL> (Empty) or corrupted value in a cell of the data column in either the RESULTS or the INJECTION table in an Empower schema, it causes EDS365 to fail on loading that data and the error to appear. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Identify the schema from the B_CONTROL_TA, remove the schema from Empower, and rerun ETL.
