OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Make the waters_connect shortcut created at installation visible to other Windows User.   

ENVIRONMENT

• waters_connect client 
• waters_connect workstation 

PROCEDURE

1. Copy the icon and the shortcut to a non-user related location, such as a "shortcut" folder created on the C: drive.
2. Copy the shortcut from step 1 to C:\Users\Public\Desktop.
3. Log in as any user other than the installing user.
4. Check the shortcut and assign the icon from either the source location or the location created in step-2.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The icon source location is <install_drive>:\Program Files\Waters\Application Hub Server\wwwroot\favicon.ico.
