How to edit ACQUITY custom plates with Analyst Control - WKB14660

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Edit ACQUITY custom plates with Analyst Control.

Beginning with Instrument Control Option Pack (ICOP) version 1.4, four custom plates are available in the AB Sciex Analyst Batch Editor:

• Custom-24-position
• Custom-48-position
• Custom-96-position
• Custom-384-position

Note: Options are limited to these four custom plates in Analyst Control, because only these four are available in the Analyst Batch Editor.

PROCEDURE

To edit custom plates:

1. Navigate in Windows Explorer:
   • \Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Plates (64-bit computers)
   • \Program Files\Waters Instruments\Plates (32-bit computers)
2. Open the desired custom plate file in either Microsoft Notepad or Microsoft Word and edit the relevant parameters.
3. Select File > Save to save your changes to the same file name.
   • Do not save as a different file name, because only these four custom plate names appear.
4. List in the Analyst Batch Editor.
