Adobe Flash Player EOL breaks ChromScope v1.6 - WKB121387

SYMPTOMS

• ChromScope v1.6 does not open, or opens but is missing displays 

ENVIRONMENT

• SFE Bio-Botanical Extraction System

CAUSE

Adobe activated a "kill switch" in Flash Player on January 12, 2021. Flash will no longer run.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. It is recommended that you upgrade to ChromScope v2.1.
2. In the meantime, or if upgrading is not possible: 
   1. Uninstall Flash Player
   2. Reinstall Flash Player from the ChromScope Directory.
   3. Disable Flash Player updates.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

ChromScope 2.1 (and 2.0) are supported only on Windows 10 on a specific Waters-provided PC. This requires a new PC to be purchased.
