Error "Can't update anything because another user saves the data right now" appears when resending a submission through NuGenesis LMS Sample Share - WKB78867

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears when resending a submission through LMS Sample Share:
  • Can't update anything because another user saves the data right now
• The submission is not sent to LMS

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS

CAUSE

A software defect—This issue occurs when a submission is marked as Not Received in the LMS client and a Sample Share user adds one or more tests to the submission.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Delete the submission and create a new one with the correct set of samples and tests. (Defect CRI-1092 was filed for this issue.)
