ANSWER

Yes, if network communication can be established via a UNC path from the FC server to the Share on the XP server. Although NuGenesis SDMS software is not supported for installation on Windows XP, a NuGenesis File Capture server, installed on a supported OS, can archive data from Windows XP machines. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Microsoft recommends turning off support for SMB 1.0 on Windows Servers because of security concerns. Windows XP requires SMB 1.0 to communicate via a UNC path. To determine if SMB 1.0 is enabled on a given FC server see this Microsoft article.
