Error "File not found" in NuGenesis Archive Agent log files - WKB75446

SYMPTOMS

• The following error is reported in the NuGenesis SDMS AA activity log file:
  • 'E ',DATE TIME','53 ','53 ','\\fileserver\\Very\long\File\Path\And\Name:File not found ','NG80EVSCommon ','clsGenKeyExtractor ','ExtractKeys ','1 ',''
  • Message........: DATE TIME: ExecuteTemplateCommand. Unable to extract keys using objiCommonKEE.iExtractKeys.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The archive agent tried to copy a file whose full path and name exceeds 255 characters.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Modify the SDMS archive template line so that the scanned files and folders contain only the relevant data files and not system or temporary files. Do not archive files whose full path exceeds 255 characters.
