ANSWER

There are several methods available to verify whether a project was backed up by NuGenesis.

  1. Each Empower project that is captured by SDMS will have its own record in Vision. Using a filter in Vision, you can determine if an Empower project was captured by NuGenesis SDMS.
  2. Each Empower project that is captured by SDMS will have its own file in the NuGMillDates folder on the Empower remote box. This folder is located in Drive:\Program Files (x86)\NuGenesis 8.0\EVS\NugMillDates. You can compare the list of file names in this folder with the Project Tree in the Empower client.
  3. Each time that SDMS backs up an Empower project, there will be a series of entries in the Empower system audit trail. Look in the system audit trail in Empower for these events:
    • Action = Toolkit
    • Details = <SDMS>File Capture: Archived Project
    • DBService=ServiceName
    • Project=ProjectName
