ANSWER

1. If the folder is there, but not the file DMM is inspecting, the record is marked as deleted by the user and never inspects again. 
2. If the share is found and not the folder, DMM marks the record as deleted by user and never inspects again. 
3. If the computer is found on the network and the share is not, DMM marks the record as delete by user and never inspects again.
4. If the computer cannot be found on the network, then DMM cannot know if the PC is turned off but will be turn back on in the future. So it will continue to try until one of the above rules are met.
