SYMPTOMS

• The following error is reported in NuGenesis Archive Agent activity log:
  • Error Category: 1  System Code (1265) - The system cannot contact a domain controller to service the authentication request. Please try again later.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

TCP/IP settings (IP, Subnet Mask, or Default Gateway) are incorrect for the physical network of the File Capture server, the DNS IP address is incorrect, or the Dolman Controller is turned off. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Update the TCP/IP and DNS settings on the File Capture server and/or turn on the Domain Controller.
