NuGenesis Transport Engine Service Module configured with wrong server - WKB47061

SYMPTOMS

• The following message appears when clicking on Data Management module in the NuGenesis SCC window:
  • "The Transport Engine Module is currently configured with the server Old NuGenesis server name.  You may create and save a new configuration file with the current server - NuGenesis server name or continue running the Transport Engine with the existing configuration.  Please note that the old configuration will be lost on the creating a new configuration file."

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The NuGenesis Transport Engine (TE) module was configured to connect a NuGenesis server that is different from the server name selected in the NuGenesis Service Configuration Console (SCC) logon box.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. If the TE module should continue to operate while connected to the other NuGenesis server, do not make any changes to the module.
2. If the module should operate while connected to a new server:
   1. Stop the module.
   2. Click the Save button.
   3. Start the module.
