Error: "Maximum message size quota for incoming messages (268435456) has been exceeded" from NuGenesis LMS - WKB4611

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears when opening a large document in the log file for the Document Creator Service:
  • "The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (268435456) has been exceeded."

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

The size of a document section exceeds 256 MB (268435456 bytes)

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Set the "maxRequestLength" parameter in the configuration files for the NuGenesis LMS client and Web server as per article wkb208569
