Error "502.3 - Bad Gateway" when loading NuGenesis WebVision - WKB3989

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears when loading WebVision:
  • Server Error in Application [DEFAULT WEB SITE]
  • HTTP Error 502.3 - Bad Gateway

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

This issue occurs when an unsupported version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is installed on a NuGenesis web server. The only version of Java supported for use with NuGenesis 8 is Java 1.7 Update 2 32-bit.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Uninstall all JREs from the NuGenesis web servers, except for Java 1.7 Update 2 32-bit.
