Error "Record: User name.Dept name is already in use or has been logically deleted" occurs when linking a user and a department in NuGenesis LMS - WKB30331

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message occurs when a user is added to a department or a Department is added to a User, and the save button is pressed: 
  • Record: <User name>.<Dept name> is already in use or has been logically deleted. Please select another name. 

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 LMS
• NuGenesis 8 ELN

CAUSE

The link between the user and the department had been added previously and was logically deleted. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

The user must be recovered from Deleted users.
