NuGenesis Smart Builder is installed but does not appear as a COM Add-in in Excel - WKB240488

SYMPTOMS

• NuGenesis Smart Builder is installed on a Windows PC
• No errors are present in the Smart Builder Auto IQ log
• Smart Builder is not loaded in Excel, and it does not appear in the COM Add-ins list or the Disabled Items list
• The "FormDesigner" registry key is present in HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins and has LoadBehavior set to 3

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 LMS
• Office 365

CAUSE

Unknown; possible corruption in the Microsoft Office installation

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Perform an Online Repair of Microsoft Office:
   1. Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
   2. Select Microsoft Office and click Change.
   3. Select Online Repair and click Repair.
   4. Restart when the repair is complete.
2. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Builder.
