ANSWER

No. NuGenesis 9 does not require the use of Adobe Reader software.

If the PDF-enabled projects are in use in SDMS, the users' client machines (laptops, Citrix, and so on) need a PDF viewer program installed in order to view the PDF reports in SDMS; however, this program need not be Acrobat Reader.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

NuGenesis LMS uses its own PDF viewer implementation for reports in the LMS client.

NuGenesis SDMS can archive PDF files and extract PDF-specific metadata; however, the data adapter does not require Adobe PDF software for this functionality.
