Error: "[NG24198] Restoring multiple file groups of the specified type is not allowed" appears when restoring Empower projects from NuGenesis SDMS - WKB207876

SYMPTOMS

• The following error message appears when restoring Empower projects from NuGenesis SDMS:
  • [NG24198] Restoring multiple file groups of the specified type is not allowed. Please restore each file group separately.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS
• Two or more of the selected projects was archived from Empower 2

CAUSE

In several versions of SDMS, restoring multiple Empower 2 projects is not possible.

FIX or WORKAROUND

This issue was filed as CRI-111 and fixed in NuGenesis SDMS v9.0.2, v9.1, and later versions.

No workarounds or patches are available for SDMS versions prior to v9.0.2.
