SYMPTOMS

[NG17543] LDAP driver reports error : can't contact LDAP server (81) Can't contact LDAP server Unable to bind to LDAP server.  When logging into Vision as an LDAP user.

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8
• LDAP

CAUSE

The NuGenesis Vision Server Service must be stopped and Apache Service must be restarted followed by NuGenesis Vision Server Service started in that order.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Stop the NuGenesis Vision Server Service
2. Restart the Apache Service
3. Start the NuGenesis Vision Server Service
4. Attempt login
