ANSWER

The ConnectorsAdmin account is an application account in NuGenesis LMS. The NuGenesis Connectors software uses this account when uploading results through the WebService API to Sample Management from imported XML files. It uses "ConnectorsAdmin" within the audit trail entries as the user who performed the action. The Connectors software does not actually log in to LMS with this account, so its password can be changed without affecting the Connectors. The only reason to have the account within LMS User Management is to have the name "Connectors Interface" appear in the audit trail reports for Sample Management test results.

The password for ConnectorsAdmin can be changed through the LMS User Management interface without interrupting the Connectors functions. It does require membership in the LMS departments and it requires read-write privileges on Sample Management in those departments.
