In MassLynx, error "Warning; The Experiment File Contains Reference to a Lockspray Profile Which is Deleted or Corrupted" - WKB9308

SYMPTOMS

• When opening the MS Method Editor window, an error window appears:

Warning; The experiment file contains reference to a lockspray profile which is deleted or corrupted. Click on OK to remove the lockspray profile referenced from the experiment file or click on Cancel to retain it.

• MassLynx 4.1
• Xevo G2-XS Tof

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Click OK to remove the currently selected lockspray profile.
2. In the MS Method Editor, choose another profile.
3. Save the MS Method file.
4. Close the MS Method Editor window.
5. Re-open the MS Method Editor window to verify that the error is cleared (also confirm that the method contains the appropriate parameters).
