ELSD not communicating in MassLynx 4.2 - WKB91414

SYMPTOMS

Exhibits all or some of the following symptoms, depending on which ICS is loaded:

• DHCP Name and Type do not populate in DHCP
• Unable to ping the assigned IP address
• Firmware does not meet minimum requirement
• Unable to scan in the ELS Detector in the Inlet Configuration Wizard
• No firmware listed in the following folder path, C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\WatersInstruments\Firmware

CAUSE

Incompatible ICS 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Use Instrument Control Software (ICS) version 1.40 for the ACQUITY ELSD.
   This can be found in Waters Driver Pack 4 Supplemental Release 1 (DP4SR1)
   AcquityELSD 1.40.1882.1.
