TargetLynx calculates results inaccurately - WKB85104
Article number: 85104
SYMPTOMS
- Concentrations calculated in TargetLynx are inaccurate
- Calculating the concentrations manually, outside of TargetLynx, gives the correct results
ENVIRONMENT
- MassLynx
- TargetLynx
CAUSE
Incorrect use of the User Factor fields
FIX or WORKAROUND
- From the Sample List, go to Samples > Format Customize.
- Add all three User Factor columns and the User Divisor column.
If no User Factors or User Divisor is required for the calculation of concentration, delete all values populated in these columns, save the sample list, and reprocess the dataset.
If User Factor(s) or a User Divisor is required for the calculation of concentration, specify the correct factor or divisor, save the sample list, and reprocess the dataset.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In MassLynx, ALL columns in the Sample List are ALWAYS active. They are either hidden or displayed. MassLynx will use the information in a hidden column. In the case of the User Factors or User Divisor, these factors will be applied even when the column is hidden.
