TargetLynx does not create a calibration curve - WKB773

SYMPTOMS

• The calibration curve is there, but it is not correct

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• TargetLynx
• Q-Tof Premier

• ACQUITY

CAUSE

The calibration curve is not correct because it grabbed the wrong peak (the larger peak) from the chromatogram retention time window.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the TargetLynx method, reduce the retention time window so that it includes only the peak of interest.
2. If the retention time window cannot be reduced to exclude peaks that are not of interest, use closest in retention time in the TargetLynx method.
