Cannot see cycle files for 2777 after upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 - WKB702

SYMPTOMS

• Upgraded operating system
• Installed MassLynx
• Cannot access the cycle files (.cyx)
• Autosampler page of inlet method is blank
• Waters 2777 > Edit Cycles menu option is dimmed/unavailable

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• 2777 sample manager

CAUSE

The cycle editor license was not added after the reinstallation of MassLynx.  

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Browse to C:\Masslynx\AddLicence.exe.
2. Specify the license number.
