SYMPTOMS

• TargetLynx processing taking 3 minutes to process a 50-minute Tof data file
• Integration only
• MS acquisition method: m/z range 50 to 500 amu
• Data file (*.raw) size is approximately 5 GB

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2 XS Tof
• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 939
• TargetLynx
• QuanLynx

CAUSE

The data processing is slow due to the size of the data files. This is expected behavior

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Tof data should not process with QuanLynx. It should only process with TargetLynx.
2. Data should process off-line with the desktop version of MassLynx/TargetLynx.
3. Data processing is slow due to the size of data files.
