MassLynx starts acquiring without triggering the inlet to inject - WKB65077

SYMPTOMS

• When starting a sample list run in MassLynx, the MS starts acquiring immediately.
• Cannot start the injection sequence.
• The inlet does not inject the sample.
• Inlet Events and Triggering are configured correctly.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• Any Mass Spectrometer with LC inlet

CAUSE

Inlets not configured correctly/wrong modules selected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reconfigure the inlet:

1. De-configure the inlet in the inlet editor by clearing all the modules.
2. Restart the PC.
3. Open MassLynx, and then the inlet editor.
4. Reconfigure the inlet system.
