How to apply specific integration parameters to individual samples in a TargetLynx dataset - WKB620

Article number: 620

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Change the integration parameters in a method to specifically integrate the 4% of peaks that are not correctly integrated. (Integration parameters in the TargetLynx method will correctly integrate 96% of the peaks in the sample set.)

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx 4.1
  • TargetLynx 4.1

PROCEDURE

  1. Integration of missed peak and/or reintegration of peaks poorly integrated by method parameters can only be done by Manual Changes made in the TargetLynx Browser/Report.
  2. To integrate a missed peak, right-click on the peak in the chromatogram panel, select Add Peak, and then right-click and select Save Peak Modifications.
  3. To reintegrate a poorly integrated peak, click on the peak in the chromatogram panel to enable the integration baseline. Drag the end of the baseline to the desired points on the trace. Right-click and select Save Peak Modifications.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The TargetLynx method applies to all samples in the dataset. The Integration parameters are set for a specific compound in the method. Changes to the method parameters will be applied to all samples in the dataset. Unique or specific integration parameters cannot be set for a given sample within the dataset.
