How to apply (in TargetLynx) the calibration curve from one compound to the response of another compound for which there are no analytical standards - WKB5722

Article number: 5722

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Apply the calibration curve from one compound for which an analytical standard is available to a compound for which no analytical standard is available.

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx 4.1
  • TargetLynx 4.1
  • MassLynx 4.2
  • TargetLynx XS

PROCEDURE

  1. Open TargetLynx Method Editor.
  2. Add the compound that has an analytical standard to the Compound list.
  3. Specify appropriate parameters for Compound, Integration, and Calibration properties.
  4. Add the compound that does not have an analytical standard to the Compound list.
  5. Specify appropriate parameters for Compound and Integration Properties.
  6. In the Calibration Properties, set the Calibration Reference Compound to the compound that has an analytical standard whose calibration curve you need to apply to this compound.
  7. If you do not see the Calibration Reference Compound field In Calibration Properties, right-click in the Calibration Properties window and put a check mark next to the Calibration Reference Compound parameter.
  8. Process data with TargetLynx.
