ACQUITY Console does not open - WKB5649

SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY console does not open
• Found: Rebooting ACQUITY hardware, MassLynx PC, and Quattro Micro EPC does not resolve issue
• Found: Reloading MassLynx 4.1 and ACQUITY system drivers does not resolve

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 805
• ACQUITY System June 2011 Driver Pack
• Quattro Micro
• ACQUITY Classic
• Windows XP Service Pack 3

CAUSE

Incorrect network card and operating system configuration

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reimage the PC with a clean installation of Windows.
2. Configure Windows XP as recommended by Waters.
3. Install MassLynx 4.1 SCN 805.
4. Install ACQUITY system drivers for the ACQUITY Classic components.
