How to increase the number of decimal places in an OpenLynx report - WKB45146

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Change the number of decimal places/significant figures reported in the OpenLynx report and copied data.

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx
  • OpenLynx / Diversity Browser

PROCEDURE

In the OpenLynx browser:

  1. Go to File > Report Scheme Open... > Browse to the relevant Report Scheme Setting (ORS) file.
  2. Open the Report Scheme:
  3. Go to File > Report Scheme Settings...
  4. Click the Decimal Places tab.
    (Here you can set the number of decimal places recorded for each parameter.)
  5. Change the required value to a value from 0-4 (4 is the maximum number of decimal places).
  6. Repeat for any other parameters that need to be adjusted.
  7. Save the Report Scheme.  Go to File > Report Scheme Save As...
  8. Data will now be reported with the required number of decimal places / significant figures.
     

Note: the values that can be modified are as follows:
Height, Area %BP, Width,TIC, Error PPM, BPI, Error mDa, BPM, Expected Mass, Area Abs, Observed Mass
